Carrie Thomas is a seasoned leader in nonprofit fundraising with a track record of building impactful corporate partnerships and innovative cause marketing campaigns. Carrie’s team is responsible for developing mutually beneficial partnerships with companies and high-profile individuals that help increase reach, relevance and revenue for the V Foundation in support of their mission to fund game-changing cancer research and save lives.

Carrie’s team is responsible for developing mutually beneficial partnerships with companies and high-profile individuals that help increase reach, relevance and revenue for the V Foundation in support of their mission to fund game-changing cancer research and save lives.
Carrie began her career as a member of former Charlotte Mayor Richard Vinroot’s 2000 gubernatorial campaign staff in North Carolina. She also served as a Congressional Intern for former Congressman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va).
Hodges earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration with a minor in public policy and interest groups from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband Brad, stepson Lucas and golden retriever Dolly.

The V Foundation, in partnership with Emergency Technical Decon and Emergent, has officially launched the Turnout for Firefighter Cancer Research Fund. Pairing the best-in-class researchers with proven, preventative technologies in the fire service, the Turnout for Firefighters Cancer Research Fund is looking to industry leaders and communities across America to join us in the fight to combat the high occupational cancer rates within the fire service. Presented by Fire Chief (Ret.) Mike Duyck of Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue and Carrie Hodges Thomas, VP of Partnership Development at the V Foundation, we invite you to join us in a brief presentation of a genesis and mission, all while embracing the power of Firefighter Cancer Awareness Month.
